Description:
Caliber 40-70. Barrel markings are " Sharps Rifle Company Bridgeport Ct". Correct sights front and rear. Original wood is in nice condition with a checkered forearm. Patch box on the butt. Case color on the buttplate as well as pretty good color on the patch box. Barrel retains 40% pleasing blue. Receiver is mostly patina. Double set triggers function correctly. Very nice bore. Overall gun looks very good. These were made up out of parts from Civil War carbines that were tore down. Matching 291 assembly number on parts at the time of conversion.
