Border engraved, tight Holland & Holland 8 Bore Back Action Under Lever Hammer Double Rifle with rebounding locks, long top tang, 25" damascus barrels with very wide single standing leaf, night sight, and Rigby release. Sound strongly figured wood, refinished, fine checkering recut. LOP 14 1/4" thru red pad, drops 1 5/8 and 2 5/8" to the sights, cast off. Comes up dead on. Horn grip cap, vacant silver oval, sling studs. Metal is unrestored with some light freckling. Bores are in superb shape for a rifle of this vintage, circa .840", 3 1/2" chambers, NP reproof at 800 bar, slow twist probably for round ball or a short conical. 12 lbs.
