Description:
Hand forged turkey trap with unique pan design. Pan would be covered with grain the turkey pecked on pan. Jaws close. Double stamped on bottom "Storganus 41," and on top "D. Martin." We assume the name could either be maker or user.  The 41 could represent 1841 or even 1741 possibly European. A very rare trap. Used to put food on the table.
