If you have been looking for a nice little vintage Colt .22 calber single action revolver that you can shoot and carry in the woods here it is. This is a Colt Frontier Scout Model in .22 rimfire that was made in 1968. It has been used, but it is in very good condition overall and has excellent mechanics. It features a gloss blue finish on the metal parts, an gloss black finish on the alloy frame, a 4.75" inch barrel, a 6-shot fluted cylinder, and a barrel mounted ejector rod. The original grips have been replaced at some point with some vintage faux stag grips. The action on this Colt is perfectly "in time", smooth, and locks up tight. The bore is bright and clean with sharp rifling, and all six chambers in the cylinder are clean and free of imperfections. The hammer still has all three positions intact, the safety notch (allows you to carry the gun safely with the cylinder full), half-cock, and full-cock. All of the controls are in perfect working order including the trigger which breaks cleanly with a light pull. This Frontier Scout should function 100% like the day it originally left the factory over 52 years ago. This Colt revolver would be an excellent addition to any collection, and could be enjoyed at the range or farm without worry. This Colt is C&R eligible.
