Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a very nice, clean, all-original Colt "Lawman Series" Frontier Scout Buntline Commemorative in .22LR. It is complete with the original factory display case. Introduced in 1970 with a limited production run of 3000 guns, the Wyatt Earp model features a nickel-plated 12" "Buntline" barrel, cylinder, hammer, grip frame, and trigger, matched to a gloss-black finished frame and smooth American Walnut grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. The combination of finishes and colors gives the gun a very handsome look, particularly when displayed in the factory display case which features a black exterior with a red velour lining. These guns were given a special serial number range of 1LWE-3000LWE. This particular example is serial number 2423LWE and it remains in excellent overall condition. While it appears to be unfired since leaving the factory there is no way to be 100% sure. The factory nickel plating is still bright and clean rating 97%, with some small deductions for very minor handling/storage marks visible only under very close inspection. The factory gloss black finish on the frame is like-new and in superb condition, rating 99%. The factory grips are also in excellent, like-new condition, free from any visible wear, cracks, scratches, chips, or damage of any kind. Both silver Rampant Colt medallions are intact and in perfect shape, and both grip panels are tight to the metal with no wiggle. The action on this Colt is slick and perfectly "in time", and the trigger is excellent breaking with a light pull. All of the other controls are in perfect working order. There is no doubt that should the new owner so choose, this Colt will function 100% like the day it left the factory 50 years ago. As mentioned earlier, this Lawman Series buntline comes with a factory Wyatt Earp display case. This display case is in good condition overall, showing only some minor wear and tear. n The black exterior shows some storage wear but is 98% intact and the gold lettering and artwork is still crisp and clear. The original brass hardware (hinges, latches) is intact and in good condition all-around. The inside lining is in great shape, showing a bright red in both the lid and lower lining, and the gold artwork and lettering repeated from the lid is crisp and clean. Under the red lining in the base of the display case is a fitted cut-out base or structure for the gun itself, and this structure is 100% intact and in excellent condition. If you have been looking for a cool new addition to your Colt firearms collection this limited-production Lawman Series Wyatt Earp Buntline in .22LR would be a superb choice. We dont see these too often anymore, and it's even scarcer still to see one in such great shape.
