SUPERIOR WW2 NATIONAL POSTAL METER U.S. M1 OR M-1 .30 CAL. CARBINE DATED 8-43. All original and correct with barrel correctly stamped “UNDERWOOD/8-43/ORDNANCE BOMB”. Receiver stamped “NATIONAL/POSTAL METER/1,547,xxx”. Matching stock and forend. Butt stamped with clearly visible correct cartouche “NPM/FJA” and Ordnance Dept. “CROSSED CANNONS”. Sling mortice stamped “TRIMBLE/TN”. Excellent plus with most of the original Parkerizing with only very light use and the wood with all the original finish. Excellent bore and working order. Extra nice example.
