WW2 SAGINAW STEERING GEAR / GENERAL MOTORS U.S. M-1 OR M1 .30 CAL. CARBINE CA. 1943. Early serial number in the 3,323,xxx range and all original. Barrel stamped “SAGINAW S. G. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS”. Original stock and matching hand guard. Stock inspected “S G” in a rectangular cartouche and with the Ordnance Dept. encircled “CROSSED CANNONS”. Inside of pistol grip stamped with correct “P” proof. Exceptional condition with very close to 100% Parkerizing and all the wood finish. Working order and excellent bore.
