SCARCE SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1903 MARK I .30-06 RIFLE W/ORIG. SLING. Made for use with the Pedersen Device and receiver aperture on this rifle is present and correct. All original and matching serial numbered in the 1,175,xxx range with Springfield Ordnance inspected and date stamped barrel “ SA/ORDNANCE BOMB/4-20” for April 1920 correct for the serial number. Original stock and handguard with correct Pedersen cut out. All original parts including bolt and trigger. Very good to fine with most of the early dark greenish black military post WW1 finish. Wood refinished but still has visible Ordnance inspector’s stamp “RA-P” and tiny inspection stamp in the magazine cutoff well. Working order and excellent bore.
