BRITISH GEORGE III EAST INDIA COMPANY FLINTLOCK SERVICE PISTOL CA. EARLY 1800’S. 16” o/a with 9” smoothbore round .65 caliber barrel. Unmarked except lock maker’s stamp (CROWN/ON) on exterior of plate under hammer. All original including all the lock parts and in very good condition. Excellent plus metal with the original thinning plum brown finish on barrel and lock with crisp dark untouched patina. Stock refinished and one wedge escutcheon missing. Brass mounts a nice looking dark umber even unpolished color. Perfect working order and fine bore. Late Napoleonic Wars era.
