fore end not plastic. Heavy 25 1/2 barrel stays down for quick 2nd shots, feeds very good for being large caliber.I don't beleive
this gun has ever been hunted withes with 10 rounds 500gr. Lion load and 10 rounds 500 gr. solids. target shows 100 yd
shot,woudn't be afraid at 200yds.
