Description:
A very fine deluxe 1893 in sought after 38-55 - the rifle is 97% overall condition with the loss being the steel butt plate "see photo " Extra fancy wood, beautiful case hardened receiver and nose cap, Fine sharp checkering! All roll marks are sharp and crisp. The bore is excellent with globe front sight and long range tang sight that is properly mounted in original holes. This would be great to take to the range. MFG 1906 26in. Bbl , I believe the butt plate rusted at one time and butt stock varnish flaked and was refinished. The butt plate should be case colored from factory. A fine example of a well crafted lever action.
