Description:
Antique Amarican Standard Tool Company Newark NJ made 22 short, 7 shot Revolver. This gun has a fluted hex barrel, spur trigger, nickel plated brass frame with blued Barrel, cylinder, hammer and trigger, the grips appear to be walnut. It is nearly identical to the Smith & Wesson model 1, 2nd issue and probably made under license to S & W.. It is in very nice full functioning condition and has most of the nickel left on it, the bore has some lite patches of corrosion and the screw look good, there is a bit of lateral play in the hinge If you look closely at the cylinder photo's you can see the roller etching on it is still very visable. This gun was made from 1868 to 1873.

ALTHOUGH I STATE FULL FUNCTIONING, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TRYING TO SHOOT ANY ANTIQUE GUN THAT I SELL!!!
