.38, #34135, back strap marked "Property of Adams Express Company", butt marked with "No 15", accompanying are a holster marked "Railway Express Agency" and an Adams Express Company "Shipper's Guide", 4 inch barrel, blue finish, 2 piece hard rubber grips, 1910.
About the time of WW I the government took over the express companys, after the war Railway Express was about all that servived.
Condition: good bore, plum blue overall with spots of original blue, grips show wear commencerate with use, very good marks, excellent mechanically, holster shows use but is solid, edges worn on book.
