Payment Types Accepted: Cleared Check Description: I found this Gun in the wall of an 1800's building in the Gold Rush area of Northern California. I have seen pictures of men carring this type of wepon in their high top boots while panning gold in a stream. It would have the added benifit of being used as a club as the 9" hex barrel weighs nearly 2lbs.The caliber is something around .30. and it has front and rear sights. The hammer and trigger function, can't see in the bore. When I found the gun the original ( looks like Tiger Maple) stock/grip was broken and I made a replacement out of Walnut, the original goes with the gun. This is a very interesting old gun that some gold seeking immigrant brought with him to California for protection in the great 1849 Gold Rush. ALTHOUGH i MAY SAY THAT THE ANTIQUE GUNS I SELL ARE FULLY FUNCTIONAL, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TRYING TO SHOOT ANY ANTIQUE FIREARM!!!!
