FINE CIVIL WAR MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. SERIES III 36 CAL. PERCUSSION NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1863. 5 shot with 6 ½” barrel with “MANHATTAN FORE ARMS CO. NEWARK,N.J.” address. Scarce early model with rare spring plate on face of recoil shield. All matching in the 20,xxx range and 100% original. Fine plus with 60% plus case colors on the frame, lever and hammer. Barrel with minor blue mixed with patina. Cylinder with all the crisp scene incorporating oval cartouches of military and naval scenes. All original screws in fine condition. Brass grips with much original silver wash. Excellent grips with the original varnish. Perfect working order and near mint bore and chambers. Nice example at a reasonable price.
