Description:
Colt Single Action Army is serial number 176206 matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. It is verified by the accompanying Colt Archive letter as a .44/c caliber, 7 1/2” barrel, blue finish with rubber grips and was shipped on February 12, 1898 to Hibbard, Spence, Bartlett Company in Chicago, IL in a shipment of 20 revolvers. The action functions properly and the bore is good with a few areas of very light corrosion. The barrel address is clear and sharp. The “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER” marking on the side of the barrel is strong and clear. The patent dates are sharp and clear. The grips fit very and are period correct but may not be original to the gun. The right grip has a chipped corner. There are strong areas of original blue on the barrel and ejector housing with traces in other protected areas. Price includes insurance and shipping to you in the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition.
