This Colt was produced in 1935. The pistol's serial number is 232337. This pistol has the unusual 5 inch barrel chambered for the 32 Colt New Police. The bore is very fine and bright. The original factory nickel plating would rate a strong 98% overall or better. The original grips are in near new condition and are serial numbered to this Colt. The action works great with no issues. This pistol locks up tight with no play. The factory letter states that this Colt left the factory in 1941. This letter also confirms that this Colt is a Pequano Model. This Colt was shipped to H & D Folsom Arms Co. New York New York. The bottom grip strap is expertly engraved [ G & E Irvington Police ] . Also included is the original Audley Holster for this Colt. the back of the holster is marked Official Folsom with some model numbers. The holster is in fine condition with no loose stiching or other damage. This holster works properly with securing the pistol in the holster. This is a very fine condition highly collectable Colt Police Positive having the unusual Pequano Model designation.
