Here we present a classic beautiful Smith & Wesson Highway Patrolman Model 28-2, with a 6 inch blued barrel, slight cylinder ring, and minor scratches on top of wooden grips.
Overall nice classic Smith & Wesson blued finish condition, warm walnut checkered inlay grips, with the S&W medallion nice and bright. The cylinder swings, spins nicely and locks up tight, some wear to finish from age and use (see photos).
This model is chambered in .357 Magnum, which can also fire .38 Special cartridges. This is an “N” frame revolver, these were in production from 1954 to 1986, serial number research puts this revolver as being manufactured in late 1964 to early 1965.
What a cool old Classic Smith & Wesson to add to your collection, or even start one with! This piece was imported from Canada and bears a discreet import mark as shown in the photos.
