Winchester 1885 - High Wall - Custom Rifle in .38-55 by Fred Depoy - 30" Barrel, LOP 13-5/8" - Built on an Original Winchester Action.
Fred Depoy was a long time employee and manager at Douglas Barrels. He was also a longtime personal friend of Jack Haugh. Fred acquired the very best Douglas Barrels for Jack, and he often traded barrels for Jack's stock work on his own guns. Fred Depoy built this rifle as his personal gun - and I believe Jack Haugh checkered and finished the stock.
This rifle is directly from the estate of Fred Depoy.
