This is a very clean, very lightly-used Colt Single Action Frontier Scout .22 caliber revolver, complete with the original box, paperwork, and factory .22 Magnum cylinder. This single action revolver features a factory blue finish on the steel parts, a black/blue finish on the alloy frame, a 4.75" inch barrel, a 6-shot fluted .22LR cylinder, a 6-shot fluted .22 Magnum cylinder, and checkered black plastic grips with Rampant Colt medallions molded-in. We would be very surprised if this Frontier Scout had more than 20 rounds fired thru it since leaving the factory in 1967. The factory finishes rate 98%, with only a few tiny little handling/storage marks visible only under close inspection. The bore is mirror-bright and pristine with sharp rifling, and both cylinders have perfect chambers with no visible imperfections. The original factory grips are in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible wear of any kind. Both grips are perfectly fit to the gun and tight to the metal with no wiggle. The mechanics of this Colt are excellent. The action is smooth and perfectly "in time", and all of the controls are in perfect working order. This Colt should shoot just as reliably today as when it was new. As mentioned before, this Colt comes with everything it shipped from the factory with, and the box is in excellent condition. If you have been looking for an investment grade Frontier Scout this is it.
