Description:
This is an old model (unconverted) Bearcat, made in 1959, the first year of production. This gun has the letter prefix "R". It has some minor wear, but is mechanically in excellent condition with bright bore. Note that these guns have aluminum frames, the barrel and the cylinder are steel. The bluing wear is always better seen on the steel parts. The bluing on the anodized aluminum will usually chip rather than thin like on the steel. It does not come with a box or papers, but will ship with the Ruger factory letter.
