Description:
Remington Model 1903 rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The receiver dates 1941 just before Remington started production of the 1903A3 pattern rifle, and still retains the original 1942 dated barrel. The rifle has been through a re-work and features a mix of remington and Springfield manufatured parts, and a very desirable S-Type stock. The bore is very nice with sharp rifling and a bright bore. The muzzle erosion measures a 1+ and the throat erosion measures at 2+, meaning, this rifle will make for an excellent shooter. The action is smooth and locks into battery perfectly. If you have been looking for a nice U.S. model 1903 to shoot or add to a collection, this Remington would make a great choice.
