he Remington Smoot No.1 revolvers were made from 1875 to 1877. This Smoot No.1 is fitted with a 5-shot 13/16 inch long cylinder, 2 13/16 octagon barrel, walnut grips, spur trigger, solid recoil shield, stepped down ejector rod, is nickel finished, and chambered in .30 Rim Fire. This Smoot is in excellent original condition, retaining 98% original finish, with only a few areas of very mninor spotting. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, with only a few areas of spotting. The action functions perfectly. The grips are in excellent condition, fit well and number to the gun. A very nice example of its type.
