.38 cal, NVSN, 34 inch heavy barrel, rust brown finish, brass furniture, maple stock, double set triggers, original sights, pewter fore end cap, lock markd "Davidson & Co/Cincinnatti O", top flat of barrel marked "J Park", circa 1840's.
Davidson & Co were lock makers 1834-1866, Park (John) located in Williamsburg, OH 1837-1880's
Condition: excellent bright bore, metal borwn overall, brass is smooth aged finish, excellent striped stock has crack on left side at lock plate screw, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
