This Springfield Garand was mfg abt 5/42, Serial No. 603XXX, Cal. 30-06. it has all of the correct parts for for the periods of WW II
thru the Korean War, The gun metal is a matching gray parkerizing throughout with the action cycling perfectly, The barrel is a 1952 w/a
mirror bore and very a very nice distinct twist. It measures "1 1/4' w/the throat the same, a perfect - both collectible and a shooter. These
are great range guns. The Buttstock is a later possibly postwar w/both matching rear and front hanguards.
