Description:
***SOLD*** Ithaca Flues Model 12ga side-by-side shotgun, Standard Grade (Field Grade), dated to approximately 1910. This shotgun is by all accounts the classic workhorse Ithaca double, many of which are still in service to bird hunters across the country. The Ithaca double is known for its reliability, general robustness and utility. This particular Flues is in great overal condition for its age, with some dings and scuffs that would be expected from a field gun, however much of the finish still remains, and the furniture is free from cracks or severe damage. The barrels are tightly on-face, and the bores have some very shallow pitting and dark spots, however this level of pitting in a shotgun bore is generally not considered a serious issue. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
