Payment Types Accepted: Cashiers check or Money Order Description: From a mid-west sale, a flintlock Musket 72 cal. smooth bore 39 1/2" Barrel 54" Overall. The wood is excellent with no cracks, chips or deep scratches however the gun has a few small dings (see photos). Metal finish is good and has a mellow grey patina (see photos). The lock is unmarked and has a strong hammer spring and the trigger functions as it should. The round barrel has three iron bands and is stamped on the top of the barrel "B 106" and "Q3GB" on the side of the barrel. The walnut stock has the initials "J.G.K." carved near the butt. At the sale they said this was a Revolutionary War flintlock. The gun appears all original to my untrained eye however I am not knowledgeable enough to date the gun.
