This Springfield Armory Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. It comes with a green cloth sling. Serial Number 5372884 (1953). Barrel is stamped 6 54. .30-06 Springfield
