NEAR MINT REMINGTON-SMOOT #2 .30RF CAL. POCKET REVOLVER CIRCA 1870’S. Scarce variation with the two stage reinforced shell extractor with knurled “wheel” shaped head. Barrel with crisp Remington address and Smoot’s “DEC. 21, 1873” patent date. Seen with and without this feature on the #2. All original with 99% plus nickel. Has all the case hardening on the hammer. Mint gutta-percha grips. Excellent bore and chambers and perfect working order. Prime example and scarce.
