This a near mint condition Remington Model 742 BDL Deluxe .30-06 Carbine, equipped with a Weaver Scope Mount and period Weaver 1.5-4.5x Widefield Telescope. Carbine has the original factory magazine. These older shorter barreled carbines are really scarce these days, and when Remington shut off their recent semi auto rifles they were approaching $1,000 retail and who knows if we shall see any more Remingtons at all since the company was liquidated. No doubt this carbine will be a very good investment down the road.
