Description:
Remington’s 550 series rimfires were the first to earn the workhorse title for their kind. Production ran from 1941 until 1970; we closed out the ones we had in 1971 at $55 apiece. The 550-2G Gallery Special Variant only saw 8000 some odd units produced, 1% of the entire production of 750000. This is the first one we’ve come across in at least 30 years. From a local collectorthis specimen of Remington’s 550-2G, Gallery Special Rifle. It was never serialized which from what I can tell is pre 1964 so it is C & R ok.Shipping to the lower 48 will be $30 if paying by by card please add 3%.
