This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1903 is a right hand bolt action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable tangent rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood straight grip with a storage compartment that includes spare bolt parts. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood with finger grooves. Serial Number 1255115 (1923). Barrel is arsenal stamped and dated 4-23. .30-06 Springfield
