This Springfireld Garand M-1, Cal. 30-06, SeriaL No. 2567xxx was mfg abt 1/44. It has all of the correct type parts for the WW II period. The Gun metal is a
all matching Gray parkerizing. There are no arsenal markings, dents, cracks or dings. The stock is a beautiful nice walnut w/matching upper and lower (SA/GAW)
handguards. It is in suberb condition. The action is excellent. The barrel a matching "1944" (2-A-1-44), The bore is a mirror w/distinct rifling and it measures "0".
This Garand to me is an excellent choice for the discerning Garand collector.
