This Remington has the 8-44 barrel date. The rifle's serial number is 3450609. It has the standard 24 inch barrel. This rifle is chambered for the standard military 30 Government 1906 cartridge [30-06]. The bore is in near minty condition. The sights are original to this rifle. The original front sight hood is intact. It has the clip ears to feed the 5 round chargers to reload the magazine. This rifle is in original as issued condition. The reciever retains the original green tone finish. The barrel also retains the original finish. The stock has the correct F.J.A. inspection stamp on the left side by the wrist. There is also a large circle "P" just below the trigger guard. The stock and hand guards have no damage or cracks. This rifle does show some service use and wear. This is a honest used service rifle with no abuse. This is a fine representation of a Remington made 1903 A3 with war service use! Search for hlvfineguns,on google for more details.
