US Model 1861, 58 caliber 3 band contract musket by Robbinson, NewYork made for the union during the civil war. Full 3 band dark walnut stock with numerous dents and chips. Full 40 inch rifled barrel is dark brown with pitting. All other metal parts are dark brown with pitting. Lock marked E. Robbinson over New York and dated 1863 and functions. Butt Plate marked US. Both sling swivels and original ramrod are present but the rear siight is missing. Uncleared attic find civil war gun. Shipping will be priority mail and actual cost, approximately $50.00.
