Description:
Marlin 93 fitted with a 26 inch full octagon barrel, full length tube magazine, walnut straight grip stock and forearm, steel butt-plate, Lyman frame mounted peep sight, Lyman ivory bead front sight, is blue finished with color case-hardened receiver, lever and butt-plate, and chambered in 38-55 Winchester. This late production (serial number 7866, in late serial number range) is in excellent original condition, retaining 98% blue on the barrel and 70% on the magazine tube. The receiver retains 70% of its original color case-hardened finish, the lever about 30%, and the butt-plate has turned silver due to total loss of its finish. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action is tight and functions perfectly. The forearm retains 20% of its original finish and the stock about 60%. Nice Marlin 93 rifle. NOTE: The rear sight/dovetail has been replaced with a Marbles adjustable for elevation semi buck-horn, see last 2 pictures.
