Description:
~Ruger Single Six Convertible .22LR single action revolver, dated to 1962. This Ruger Single Six Convertible pistol features the classic Single Six single action design, meant to emulate a Colt single action pistol mechanism. This model is the convertible model, with a 6.5" barrel and an XR3-RED frame, as well as walnut grip panels, a blued finish on the barrel and frame, and an alloy grip frame and ejector housing. The pistol does not have a transfer bar safety mechanism, and needs to be on half-cock in order to open the loading gate and load/eject the shells, true to the original design. The pistol is the Convertible model, however only one cylinder is included, and it is the .22 Magnum cylinder. The pistol is in good working order, with a solid action and great bore/chamber surfaces, with some signs of age and regular use, as shown in the photos. Some of the screw heads appear to be slightly buggered, however they are still usable for assembly/disassembly. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. A wonderful collectors item, not to mention a very cool plinker! No handgun sales in MA.
