Description:
Fine early E grade 10ga made with 30" Damascus barrels, splinter forend, double triggers, extractors, capped pistol grip and original LAC monogrammed buttplate. Long trigger guard tang. Not a particularly rare gun, but in pleasing original condition with a lot of original finish remaining. Most of these early 10ga Lefever Arms guns are totally clapped out junk and have no finish. That is not the case with this fine early gun.
Overall the gun is in fine original condition with 65% original case colors, about 85% barrel pattern. Bores are mostly bright with some pits evident. Mechanics are fine. Stocks are sound with handling marks and hunting bumps. There is a small chip at the toe of the buttplate. This gun would make a fun Turkey hunting companion!
