WW2 GERMAN MAUSER BERLIN LUEBECKER K98K CODE 237/1940 8MM INFANTRY CARBINE. All original with matching serial numbers except bolt which is original wartime replacement. Very good overall with the original matching stock and forend numbered to the gun and with the original finish. Metal with the original thinning blue with moderate wear. Nice Nazi Ordnance stamps on stock along with same serial number stamped on underside where it should be. Waffenampts on receiver and barrel are present but partially over stamped in the post war era. Old import stamp on barrel. Floorplate forward screw area has a bit of rust and peen marks should clean up with some TLC. Exceptional Nazi proof markings throughout on stock and metal so better than usual import. Working order and very good bore.
