Description:
For sale is a used Dickinson Plantation chambered in 12ga with 30in barrels. Dickinson’s plantation grade double gun is both a looker and a shooter. Packed with features found on more high-end side by sides and even over-unders, this gun is a nice blend of tradition and modern technology. Starting from the back, it has a thin, fitted buttpad connected to a figured Turkish walnut stock. The stock is slightly cast off and has a prince of wales grip, checkered to a subtly smooth 24 lines per inch with nice drop points behind the faux sidelocks. This gun has a non-selective single trigger which completes a lustrous case color hardened receiver lightly engraved with flowers and wavy billows. A gold banner on the bottom of the action contains the word PLANTATION. It is chambered for 3” shells and has automatic selective ejection. The barrels are 30” long with a solid rib, Dickinson is inlaid in gold ahead of the action. The barrels are multi-choke and the gun comes with 5 Dickinson friction chokes offering a fixed choke look. The fore-end is of equal wood figure and is semi-beavertail with a Deeley latch release, also color hardened. The barrels are high gloss deep dark blue and the stock itself has a gloss finish. The gun is in like new condition with its factory soft case and velvet sleeves.
