This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1903 is a right hand bolt action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A raised hooded blade front sight and a flip up adjustable tangent middle sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip and is missing the checkered steel butt cap. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. Serial Number 179579 (1905). The barrel is flaming bomb stamped and with the date 2-19. .30-06 Springfield
