This Original Le Page style .40 caliber half stock pistol has a 13/16" octagon to 3/4" - 7 flats to 13/16" octagon barrel x 11" rifled barrel. It is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. The bore has good rifling with some minor pitting. Inscribed on the side flats is A Francotti Die in Liege that is filled with gold wash. The P grade European Walnut stock with a fluted grip and checkered forend, is fitted with iron furniture, including a buttcap. The Scheutzen style bar in wood lock has a fine engraved border line, which is carried out on all the furniture and barrel. Single trigger. Please Note: There is some minor wood shrinkage around the tang, escutcheons, trigger guard front finial and back of the lock plate. Good wood to metal fit - made by A Francotti.
