1st Battalion Ranger 9" Brass Knuckled Fighting Knife
  • 9" blade
  • 13 7/8" overall length
  • Cast brass knuckle hilt with teeth/cogs cast into guard
  • Identified as the "1st Battalion Ranger" knife in Harold Peterson's book American Knives, these brass-knuckled fighting knives have been subsequently identified as being the product of Australia, and saw service in the Pacific Theater during WWII
  • These are an essential part of any collection of WWII theater and fighting knives
  • The majority of the extant examples probably came home as souvenirs
  • Has original leather scabbard with some minor edge tooling
  • Overall good condition and common condition for period
  • Scabbard has wear as shown in pics
