New items added daily! Description: This is a rare and desirable K Date Mauser Luger, which was made in 1934. It has all original finish and like most K dates it shows extensive use. There were only about 10,000 made in this FIRST contract military gun. The original finish rates at about 80% with general thinning of the original finish was well as dulling and patina. However, the gun lacks rust or pitting, so certainly a very collectible grade gun. All numbered parts are matching and there is the early S on almost every part including the hold open, firing pin, side plate, levers, etc. Grips are also numbered 96. The only part not matching is the magazine, but it is period correct B90 proofed, most likely to a G Date luger. Excellent bore. One issue to mention is that the serial on the frame has one number overstamped. The 2nd digit "6" is stamped over a "7". This is for sure a factory original overstamp and fairly common for the Mauser factory to have made such an error. Does not detract at all from the rarity or originality of this Luger.
