CIVIL WAR STARR PERCUSSION .54 CAL. U.S. CAVALRY CARBINE. All original and matching (16,xxx serial range) in excellent condition. Has 70-80% original blue on barrel and greying case colors on lock and frame. Stock and forend with the original finish. Two excellent cartouches on wrist of stock. Excellent bore and working order. Many saw service in the Trans-Mississippi theatre of the War. Shows War usage but nice all original example.
