Description:
In very good condition as made in 1902 with original owner's initials AC (fancy Old English font) and 2nd April 1902 engraved in the gold oval, rejointed and is now nice and tight. This is a rare example in 16ga with functioning self-acting ejectors and appears to be all original except for the top tang screw which is a modern copy. Screws all good, engraving strong, no cracks, no missing wood, lots of light handling marks in pretty wood w some deeper dings in forend checkering. LOP 14 thru spurred horn plate, drops 2 and 3 circa 3/8" cast off. Stout NP "wrought steel" barrels w mirror bright bores 30"x 2 3/4" 1 oz proof R 679/644 F and L678/644 F. 6.5 lb
