Description:
Very hard-to-find Winchester New Rival 100-count, full box of New Primed Empty Paper Shot Shells. This box has several pluses going for it: first of all the primary printing is in Blue while most of these New Rival Rival boxes are found with Green lettering. Secondly, this is a 10 guage box and its' full of the correct New Rival 10 guage blue-hulled 2 7/8th inch primed shells. Further, the packing slip is still in this box, an incredible find considering those were usually discarded or lost many decades ago. Also, it has the correct bottom with a date code of February 1912 (2-12). Even though full of only primed empty shells there still is a fair amount of weight to this box most of which are found with seam splits and/or repairs. To find a full 10 guage box like this still in solid, original condition is, to the say the very least, difficult. Actually, I doubt if a nicer one even exists!
