SALE PENDING. this winchester began life as a extreme weather 7mm-08. i had Bennie Shade of Range and Field of Lebanon, Tennessee install a Douglas stainless steel barrel, smooth the action and chamber it for a 7mm-08. barrel is 23". i felt 24' was a little too long and 22" was a little too short. target crown. trigger replaced with a Timney and adjusted to about 2.75#. post 64 controlled round feed stainless steel action. Talley bases and rings with a Leupold VX III 3.5-10x scope. weight of rifle with scope is 8 1/8 lbs. stock is Bell and Carlson with the metal bedding block. rifle shoots good but at age 74, i'm culling out my rifle safe. only shot hand loads. i have included a couple of 100 yd targets i shot in the spring. winner will recieve my targets with load information. if you don't want the scope and rings deduct $325.00. shipping limited to lower 48. shipping $50.00.
