fine shiney bore good rifling needs a little cleaning barrel is 24 inches long factory letter says set trigger but it does not work ... looks like first model carbine rear sight,,,,,,,, rear sight moved and filler put in barrel 70% plus original blue screws heads nice, stock looks un sanded one of the best first model i have seen lately 44-40 caliber the octogan barrel is different in that a grove for full magazine is under the barrel but comes with short magazine guess this is a start up problem with magazine grove under barrel not many short magzine orders made on early 73s i guess so they used a standard barrel lots of nice bright blue on receiver
