Description:
Parker VH 16 gauge with factory length 26" barrels. Original barrel blue that is faded and worn in carry areas. No dents, pits, etc. with mirror bores that have not been altered. Barrels do NOT ring but I can not find an area where the rib is loose. Chokes measure 4 1/2" in taper. Locks up tight with no wiggle/lateral movement when the forend is off. Crisp trigger pulls. The butt stock has been spliced to 14 3/4 lop. There is 12" of wood from the front trigger to the splice. The fit is not necessarily poor but is certainly not presessional work either. It's solid though and could be blended to make look much better. There is a nice amount of case coloring remaining and the screws all look good. Wood to metal fit is very good. This gun is in the serializtion book and all matches. Simply put, it's a project and that's what I intended to do with it. Several options here.
